SV Darmstadt 98 unveiled its new home jersey for the 2026/27 season on Friday morning. The royal‑blue shirt features a jacquard pattern with nine lilies representing different eras of the club and will make its debut in a test match against SG Arheilgen on July 4.
What’s behind the design?
The kit was co‑created with Swedish supplier Craft, a partner the club has worked with for several years. The jacquard weave embeds nine distinct lily motifs, each a nod to the club’s long history. A new slogan, "WIR LILIEN", runs across the back of the neck, reinforcing identity.
How do the sponsors appear?
HAIX (main sponsor) and Suzuki (sleeve partner) have been given a monochrome treatment so the design stays firmly in blue and white. Both logos appear in a single colour, keeping the look clean and modern without overwhelming the traditional palette.
When and where can fans buy it?
The jersey is now available in the official online shop and at physical fan stores at the stadium and in the city centre. It costs €84.98 for adults and €59.98 for children; a long‑sleeve version is €94.98. Opening hours vary to accommodate all supporters.
What does this mean for the current campaign?
The club currently sits 5th in the 2. Bundesliga with 52 points (13 wins, 13 draws, 8 losses) and a recent form of LDLDL. With 57 goals scored and 45 conceded (+12 goal difference), Darmstadt 98 is mid‑table but still 18 points behind leaders FC Schalke 04. The fresh kit aims to give a visual and mental boost as the team heads into the second half of the season.
What’s next?
After the July 4 test match, the jersey will be used regularly in league fixtures. Craft remains the club’s kit supplier until the end of the 2029/30 season, ensuring a unified look for the first team and youth squads for years to come.
